Galvanised GI Steel Plate

GNEE STEEL adds a galvanized coating to cold-rolled mild steel sheets, producing flat, smooth-rolled steel that is extremely strong and corrosion-resistant. Typically supplied in roll form, we only stock this product in rectangular sheets. These boards are available in a variety of thickness, width and length combinations. This is a handy product for small jobs and repairs.

The first thing you'll notice about this product is the glossy silver sequin finish. This finish is very unique and will weather over time to a more consistent dark silver or gray finish. Similar to uncoated cold rolled sheet, galvanized mild steel sheet is suitable for forming and bending and is suitable as a finishing surface for exterior panels. This grade has good weldability and is easy to weld or braze, but care needs to be taken to repair damaged coatings. Common thicknesses range from 0.5 mm to 3.2 mm. You will find this product usually available in coil form, but we do not stock coils.
