PPGI is pre-painted Galvanized Steel, also known as pre-coated steel, color coated steel etc.
Using Hot Dip Galvanized Steel Coil as the substrate, PPGI is made by first going through surface pretreatment, then the coating of one or more layers of liquid coating by roll coating, and finally baking and cooling. The coatings used including polyester, silicon modified polyester, high-durability, corrosion-resistance and formability.

Color-coated coil is a product made of hot-dip galvanized sheet, hot-dip galvanized sheet, electro-galvanized sheet, etc. as the substrate. After surface pretreatment, one or several layers of organic paint are applied on the surface, and then baked and cured.
What Is The Difference Between PPGL And PPGI Steel Coil?
They are all based on cold-rolled steel sheets.
PPGI is pre-coated on cold-rolled steel sheets after galvanizing, and PPGL is pre-coated on cold-rolled steel sheets with an alloy of 55% aluminum and 43.4% zinc.
The density of 55% AL-Zn is lower than that of Zn, and it is more cost-effective to use galvalume materials than galvanized materials.
