The chemical composition of 440F Stainless Steel mainly includes elements such as iron, chromium, carbon, molybdenum and cobalt, among which the carbon content is 0.95-1.20%. It is a high-carbon and high-chromium stainless steel, belonging to martensitic stainless steel. It has good corrosion resistance, high hardness and good wear resistance, but poor toughness. Its heat treatment hardness can reach 60-62 HRC. It is mainly used to manufacture mechanical parts such as cutting tools, bearings and valves.
