The chemical composition of API 5L X70 material includes Si Max 0.55, C max 0.04-0.16, P max 0.035, Mn Max 1.10-1.70, and S max 0.035. Applications of Tubo API 5L gr x70 and L485m steel pipes are also known as API 5L X70 line pipes, fluid pipes, water pipes, structural steel pipes, piling pipes.

The mechanical performance grade of API 5L X70 pipe is X70, its allowable yield point ratio is ≤0.85, the yield strength MPa (min) is 480, and the tensile strength MPa is 600 – 750.

API 5L X70 seamless pipe and API 5L X70 pipe are widely used in pipeline transportation systems in the oil and gas industry. Suitable for transporting natural gas, water and oil modified for use on offshore structures, these pipes can reliably transport oil and gas anywhere, including gathering and distribution points.
