Molybdenum-lanthanum Alloy Steel Pipe (Mo-La alloy) is made by adding lanthanum oxide to molybdenum. Molybdenum lanthanum has a high recrystallization temperature, good ductility and excellent wear resistance. Molybdenum (Mo) is a gray metal with the third-highest melting point of all elements, after tungsten and tantalum. It occurs in various oxidation states in minerals but does not occur naturally as a free metal.
