Both rhenium and molybdenum Stainless Steel are refractory metals with good ductility and strength. Standard molybdenum-rhenium alloy contains 47.5% rhenium and is suitable for many industries. Adding 47.5% or 41% rhenium greatly improves its ductility, weldability and formability. The alloy has the high-temperature physical properties of rhenium and the good mechanical properties of molybdenum. Its rolling deformation can reach 90%, and the alloy can maintain good ductility even after being exposed to high temperatures.
