Product description

316N Stainless Steel Pipe is composed of many different elements, the main element being iron, which accounts for about 60-70% of its chemical composition. Other key elements found in 316n stainless steel pipes include chromium and nickel. Chrome provides excellent corrosion resistance, while nickel increases the strength and hardness of the pipe. In addition, up to 2% molybdenum is added to further improve the stainless steel's resistance to oxidation and chloride attack. Finally, small amounts of nitrogen and carbon may also be present to provide strength and durability. These properties make 316n stainless steel pipe well suited for a variety of applications, from harsh marine environments to general industrial piping systems. 253 MA stainless steel is easy to manufacture using standard commercial methods. Stainless steel is stronger and tends to harden quickly compared to carbon steel. However, the hardening tendency of this alloy can be minimized by direct feed and low speed coupled with sufficient cutting fluid. Alloy 253MA contains a fairly low nickel content, which gives it certain advantages in reducing sulfide atmospheres compared to high-Nickel Alloys and grade 310. The high content of silicon, nitrogen and cerium gives the steel good oxide stability, high heat resistance and excellent properties. Resistant to σ-phase precipitation.
