Grade Sus 1 Inch 316L Stainless Steel Plates is a nickel-chromium Stainless Steel that has molybdenum added to improve corrosion resistance in acidic environments. In particular, it provides resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. It has high heat resistance and can be used at high temperatures. Grade 316 demonstrates excellent formability. It can be easily molded into parts needed for applications in various industries such as construction and transportation. Grade 316 has good weldability and does not require post-weld annealing.
